This morning just after 02:00 Hours Truck 4 was alerted to the 300 block of Third Street in Pitcairn for a working Structure Fire. Pitcairn Police arrived immediately after dispatch with heavy smoke showing from a three story apartment building and people still inside. Crews assembled but were hampered by poor road conditions and extreme cold during the incident. Crews were able to put a stop on the fire which occupied the top floor of the building and rooftop areas, all occupants were also accounted for and evacuated fairly quickly by all personnel on scene. The county fire marshall is investigating the scene.
