Early this morning crews were alerted to the PA Turnpike for a report of a vehicle fire. Upon units entering the pike PA Turnpike Dispatch advised of this being a tractor trailer with the cab of the vehicle fully involved. Engine 41 at this time added Tanker 5 to the assignment due to limited water supply on this limited access highway. Engine 41 and Engine 51 arrived to find a tractor trailer with the cab fully involved and fire impinging on the trailer. Crews from both engines quickly brought the fire under control and remained on scene with overhaul and assisting the turnpike for about an hour.
