Today
at 16:12 hours, crews were alerted to the area of
Northern Pike and Deauville Drive for a reported
chimney fire by a motorist. Crews arrived in the
area and found a chimney condition on Lavale Drive.
Crews investigated and found a small fire inside
the lower section on the chimney and firebox areas.
Crews using dry chemical extinguishers and pressurized
water cans were able to extinguish the fire and
also performed some overhaul inside while ventilating
with negative pressure fans. Crews were out about
an hour.
