This evening as crews were out on a fire alarm, company 4 was alerted to Haymaker Road for a MVC with entrapment. Monroeville PD arrived upon dispatch and confirmed a single vehicle on it's side and one patient still inside.

Crews from Truck 4 returned to staff E-42 while R-4 went en-route with 4 personnel. A-59 was also added to the assignment due to a third working call, EMS incident at the same time tying up M-48.

Crews from R-4 arrived and began cribbing the vehicle, followed by working to remove the windshield to gain access to the patient who was denying injuries at this time. Crews from E-42 arrived and provided fire suppression support. Crews extricated the patient in a short amount of time, and turned him over to EMS for evaluation and refusal later on. Crews were out about a half hour.
