Shortly after 11:00am, Station 4 was dispatched into Plum on a Mutual Aid second alarm structure fire. Engine 42 and Medic 49 responded with a total of seven personnel. Once on-scene Company 4 crews were tasked with extinguishing a large brush fire along a hillside that threatened to ignite other homes. After extinguishing the brush fire, crews assisted with overhaul of a rear deck and walkway of the original fire building before being released by Command. Company 4 also handled two other EMS calls in town with additional personnel during the incident.
